Dr. Richard Matthews received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Texas, where he also completed a Pediatric Dental Specialist Program.
He then continued his education at Louisiana State University where he completed a postdoctoral pediatric program in orthodontics.

Dr. Matthews is an esteemed member of many pediatric dental and orthodontic communities and is a leading provider for pediatric orthodontic care.
Dr. Matthews loves giving back to his community and is involved with many volunteer groups including Texas Smile and the San Juan Dental Clinic.
In his spare time, you’ll find him at the golf course, a Houston sporting event, or spending time with his grandchildren.
