Teeth get knocked out, cracked, chipped, or decayed, which can lead to a real pain that no kiddo wants or should be feeling.

Dental Emergency? Here’s What You Do.
As we all know, accidents happen, and it’s usually at a time when it’s least convenient for everyone involved. Relax, and know that we’ve got you covered for all of your pediatric dental emergencies in Spring, The Woodlands, and Tomball. If your child has an issue, whether it’s during regular business hours or not, please know that we’re here and happy to help get your little one treated promptly. Call our office at 281-378-6515. If it is after hours or on the weekend, a live answering service will contact the doctor on call. For orthodontic emergencies, there is always an orthodontic assistant on-call.
Common Dental Emergencies and Issues
Does your child have a cut in their mouth, or did they bite their tongue, lip, or cheek? Make sure to apply ice to the area and apply firm pressure with clean gauze or cloth if bleeding is present. If bleeding does not stop after 15 minutes or cannot be controlled by simple pressure, take the child to the emergency room. If your child has a knocked-out tooth, try to replace it in the socket or under the tongue before coming to see us. If there’s persistent pain, try cleaning the area around the sore tooth and rinse with warm saltwater. DO NOT place aspirin on the gum or on the aching tooth.
